You'll be part of a friendly and supportive team where everyone - no matter what role - contributes ideas and drives outcomes.What role will you play?As the Global Head of Technology for Financial Risk, you will provide overall leadership and strategic direction to transform and uplift our global technology strategy for Financial Risk. You will oversee the development and implementation of technology solutions that enhance risk assessment, approval, monitoring, and reporting capabilities. Partnering closely with senior business leaders within our Risk Management Group and other business units, you will ensure alignment with Macquarie's business objectives and risk appetite.You will lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global technology team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Additionally, you will manage key technology vendor relationships and drive the adoption of advanced analytics, machine learning, and other emerging technologies to enhance risk modelling and decision-making processes.What you offerProven experience in executive-level management in technology leadership roles within the financial services industry, with a strong focus on risk management.Track record of developing and implementing modern technology architectures that support business growth and risk management objectives.Deep understanding of credit risk management, market risk, and associated processes, including credit decisioning, calculating counterparty credit exposures, credit limit management, Value At Risk calculations, and market position exposures.Solid understanding of global financial regulatory requirements and experience leading global, cross-functional teams and managing senior stakeholder relationships.Strong analytical skills with relevant experience in real-time event-driven architectures, API management, cloud platform management, advanced analytics, and modern data management technologies.Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and drive change across a global organisation.We love hearing from anyone inspired to build a better future with us, if you're excited about the role or working at Macquarie we encourage you to apply.About TechnologyTechnology enables every aspect of our business, for our people, our customers and our communities.
