Global Finance Senior Analyst - South Brisbane, QLD
The Corporate Finance Senior Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting FCTG's M&A strategy by identifying potential acquisition targets as well as providing analysis on accurate and timely financial insights, forecasts, and reports. This role involves analysing financial data, identifying trends, and assisting in strategic decision-making to enhance the company's financial performance and growth.
The role will also involve supporting various Group transformation projects, contributing to the overall strategic objectives of the organisation.
Your Responsibilities:
Support FCTG's M&A strategy through target identification
Coordinate the deal team, financial due diligence and post-acquisition monitoring
Complete strategic market and comparable company benchmarking research, analysis and planning
Focus on creating a transparent view of the current and future liquidity position of the FCTG and individual businesses and countries
Support Group transformation projects
Commercial support involving market research, financial analysis of new initiatives or review of existing businesses to provide insights into key business drivers and identify opportunities to improve
Developing business cases for new and existing opportunities capitalising on current competitive advantages
Assist in financial due diligence for acquisition opportunities considered by FCTG, liaising closely with operational sponsor, external advisors and FCTG Global Expert Teams
Assisting in the preparation of finance due diligence reports and acquisition board papers
Regular review of the Group forecast using three way forecast model with updates to the FCTG Board
Supporting the delivery of Group transformation initiatives including project management, business case development and reporting to key stakeholders
Who you are:
We are seeking a candidate with at least 5+ years' experience post qualification
Ability to work on Financial modelling and adapt financial information to meet users' needs
Bachelor or tertiary level certification
CA/CPA preferred
Transaction services and/or valuations experience would be highly regarded
Knowledge of travel industry and Flight Centre business would be beneficial
