This is an exciting opportunity to join a greenfield procurement team in a dynamic global role, with extensive opportunities to shape strategies and drive impactful change.
The Role:Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you'll play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategic category and contract management initiatives for mining projects, both opex and capex.
You will be instrumental in improving the supply chain, mitigating risks, and unlocking significant cost savings to deliver a competitive edge for the organisation.
This senior position offers a chance to truly influence outcomes within a flexible, collaborative, and high-performing work environment.
Key Responsibilities:Lead the creation, implementation, and management of a comprehensive category management strategy across diverse categories and sub-categories, both opex and capex.Develop category plans and ensure seamless contract management, with a strong understanding of legal terms related to procurement and supply agreements.Work closely with key stakeholders to design product groups that maximize value, enhance customer offerings, and streamline how products are delivered to the market.Provide strategic guidance to stakeholders, helping shape effective sourcing strategies to drive business success.What You Bring:Proven experience in category management, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
