As the Global Business Officer you will be responsible for:
Develop, foster and manage strong relationships with internal and external clients in the international education industry. Develop and implement marketing tasks to support the TAFE Queensland student markets to assist in maintaining or increasing existing revenue streams. This position reports to the Global Business Partner.
This is a Temporary Full Time opportunity, until 29th May 2025 unless otherwise determined.
The position will be based primarily at South Bank however you may be required to perform work at other TAFE Queensland campuses.
Key Responsibilities Maintain knowledge and provide analysis of international student recruitment markets, identifying new opportunities, provide referrals to the appropriate market lead, current competitors and key market insights. Assist in the development of international student recruitment and marketing plans in line with TAFE Queensland's International strategic and core plans. Collaborate with the TAFE Queensland marketing, admissions, compliance and business development teams to provide content for print and digital communications designed to engage and convert enquiries and applications to enrolment. Provide customer support, through enquiry management systems as well as face-to-face prospective student consults and campus tours to enhance student pipelines and promote opportunities to prospective students. Coordinate the administration and implementation of events and activities for internal and external stakeholders including but not limited to representing TAFE Queensland at conferences, expos, study tours, school visits and delivering education agent training. Maintain systems to manage leads and prospective student information. Actively support and encourage international student applications and assist in the conversion of students to enrolment. Provide professional administrative and project support to the Global Business Team utilising various software packages. Contribute to improvement in business processes and practices to ensure that TAFE Queensland can continue to deliver an optimal customer experience and stakeholder engagement. How you will be assessed The ideal applicant will be someone who has the following key capabilities:
Displays the initiative, attitude and ability to thrive within a dynamic, challenging and changing environment. Well-developed understanding of the international vocational education and training (VET), Higher Education and English language markets, including the ability to identify, marketing opportunities within the markets. Demonstrated achievement in a competitive sales environment with a strong track record in contributing to the achievement of team sales targets. Proven highly developed communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with experience in stakeholder and customer engagement liaison appropriate to an environment of change and continuous improvement while demonstrating the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders and staff at all levels. Well-developed understanding of the global markets including culture and cultural protocols, relevant legislations, standards, regulations and guidelines. Highly Desirable Requirements Bilingual language skills (preferably in either Spanish or Portuguese).
