The Role We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee the building division across metropolitan NSW.
This hands-on role requires a dynamic leader with the drive to achieve business growth and improve profitability.
Working closely with senior management, you will take ownership of projects, deliver successful outcomes, and exceed industry KPIs.
What You Will Do Manage Operations: Oversee financial performance, reporting, and day-to-day operations within the building division.Ensure Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to safety, quality, program timelines, and financial guidelines.Leadership & Team Management: Guide and support project managers, estimators, and the construction team to achieve targets.Client Relations: Foster strong relationships with insurance clients and loss adjusters, ensuring exceptional customer service.Conflict Resolution: Manage escalations and disputes effectively.Mentorship: Coach staff and share knowledge to improve business processes.Workplace Safety: Monitor quality control and health and safety practices.Resource Allocation: Assign and assess trades effectively.Benefits Fully maintained company vehicleMobile phone and laptop providedCompetitive salary packageAutonomy and opportunity to help shape a growing businessAbout You We're looking for someone with: Experience in insurance, commercial, or residential construction.Leadership Skills to motivate and guide a team.High-Pressure Competence: Ability to prioritise in demanding environments.Trade Qualifications or a relevant background (essential).Large Loss / Insurance Sector Knowledge (highly regarded).Strong Communication Skills: Effective at engaging teams and clients.Dispute Resolution & Negotiation Abilities.Relationship Management Experience with clients and adjusters.Key Requirements Relevant working rights in AustraliaConstruction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card)National Police Check clearanceAvailability for occasional interstate travelWe look forward to hearing from you.
