About this part of our organisation:
Our Zinc Assets in Australia include multiple geographically dispersed operations, including underground and open pit mines, processing plants, and port facilities. Additionally, we have operations across Asia, the American continents, and Europe. Mount Isa is home to the majority of our Zinc assets in Australia, and this role is based residentially in Mount Isa.
About your potential new position:
The Senior Sourcing Advisor is responsible for purchasing goods, materials, and services as assigned, in compliance with the requirements of the Delegated Authority Manual and established procurement policies and procedures. This role involves negotiation and management of purchase orders and contracts with both local and international suppliers to ensure that all business units have timely access to necessary goods and services at competitive prices. This will involve closely collaborating with internal customers to grasp the full scope of their needs and effectively leveraging third-party partners to fulfill those requirements.
