Rolleston Open Cut is a 16Mtpa thermal coal mine located in the southern Bowen Basin in Central Queensland. With a long life of mine and low operating costs, the mine has a bright outlook. Since 2005, we have grown to become one of the largest surface mines in Australia, whilst continuing to foster a culture underpinned by safety, achievement, flexibility and teamwork to improve the skills of each and every person on the mine site every day. About the Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Environment and Community Advisor to join our dynamic and successful team. As a valued member of the Technical Services team and reporting directly to the Senior Environment and Community Advisor, you will be responsible for:
Providing leadership to drive excellence in environment and community engagement. Provide Technical advice and operational support. Onsite Environmental and Community Stakeholder engagement. Planning and implementation of land disturbance, water management, auditing systems and performance monitoring. Initiatives to progress responsible mining. About you To be successful in this role, you will have: High organisational, target based abilities. You will be able to demonstrate your commitment to a high performing safety culture. Relevant tertiary education. Previous experience in the industry. High levels of interpersonal, communication and leadership skills. About Rolleston Open Cut
