Reporting to the Senior Planning Metallurgist, this position is a permanent residential role, on a standard roster configuration, which can be negotiated.
The successful candidate will be responsible for: Work in a team of Planning Metallurgists in the delivery of production planning related tasks.Implementation & integration of metal accounting system with current reporting systems.Evaluation of potential feedstock for the smelter assets.Report on variance to the production plans on weekly and monthly time-scales.Conduct monthly metal reconciliations.Effective stakeholder engagement to roll out and implement production plans and metal accounting improvements.You will have the following skillset and attributes: A degree in a Metallurgy related discipline.A minimum of 3 years of experience in smelters/mineral processing plants with strong base metals exposure.Strong knowledge of metal accounting, reconciliation, and sampling systems.Ability to communicate effectively to a wide variety of stakeholders.Strong data analytical skills with Excel, PI System, Power Query.Benefits: Competitive Remuneration packaged with 13% superannuation.Benefits program including discounts with Health Insurance providers, online and in-store discounts through Glencore Rewards, Employee Referral Program, Recognition and Reward programs.Fantastic professional development opportunities with leadership development programs, ambassador Programs and more.Unrivalled career opportunities.For further information please contact: Leanne Kretschmann on 0439 875 396.
