Glazing Facade Draftsperson

Details of the offer

As a 'McNab Facade Draftsperson', your primary role is to prepare project specific Façade shop drawings that capture the complete contracted scope of works for submission and approval by Architects, Consultants and Builders. The set of shop drawings will include General Notes, Floor Plans, Product Schedules, Sectional Details and Installation Set Outs as a minimum. All shop drawings will be prepared following the 'McNab Façade Drafting Procedures' and utilising various 'McNab CAD Libraries' and Templates.You will directly report to the 'Façade Drafting Team Leader' who is accountable to the 'Façade Design Manager'. The 'Façade Design Manager' will liaise with the 'Façade Drafting Team Leader' on project specific requirements and allocate timeframes to ensure timely submissions based on the project programs. Submission dates are non-negotiable and need to be met.Your CapabilitiesRead and understand project specifications, architectural and structural drawings.Prepare shop drawings relating to building facades accurately and to program.Aware of basic National Construction Codes and Australian Standards requirements.Knowledge of Australian commercial glazed window and door systems (not just Curtain Wall) would be advantageous.Able to communicate in a precise and qualified manner with other Team members.Further develop and maintain CAD libraries and templates.Computer SkillsExperienced in AutoCAD 2D software for shop drawing preparation and the ability to follow our standard internal drawing office procedures. (ACAD 3D skills would be useful but not necessary).Competent in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams programs.Personal TraitsBe punctual and practice time management.Able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.Work cohesively with other Team members.Work SetupMonday - Friday, 6:00am to 3:00pm | Dayshift.Onsite (Philexcel, Clark).ShoreXtra PerksHMO Provided.15 Leave Credits Annually.Free barista-style coffee.Free parking and jeepney services.Highly engaged team.Unlimited potential for growth.Challenging role.Fun and family-oriented working environment.
