The Glazier will play a crucial role in our construction projects by ensuring high-quality glass
installations in both residential and commercial settings.
This position requires technical
expertise, an understanding of safety standards, and the ability to deliver custom glazing
solutions.Key Tasks and Duties:
Cut and shape glass to specified sizes for windows, doors, skylights, and other
installations.
Install glass and mirrors in various settings, including windows, display cases, interior
walls, ceilings, and modular units.
Prepare installation sites by securing frames and structural supports, followed by sealing
glass for durability and environmental protection.
Work with modular construction companies to install glass in prefabricated structures
using specialized techniques.
Provide custom glass and mirror solutions tailored to the unique needs of residential and
commercial clients, ensuring energy efficiency, safety, and aesthetic appeal.
Ability to operate EWP machinery and tools safely and ability to read Façade shop drawings and
construction plans.
Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety and maintaining a
clean and organised work environment.
Collaborating with the Operations team to resolve any technical issues.
The role requires the ability to work in regional and remote environments and handle complex
glazing tasks for large commercial projects, modern architectural designs, and modular
construction units.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in glazing work, including cutting, shaping, and installing glass.
Strong understanding of safety standards and architectural design.
Ability to work in varied environments and handle both standard and custom glazing
projects.
