Gis Systems Technician

Start: circa 04 July 2024
Duration: 12 months – with 2 x 12 month extension options
Location: Canberra, ACT
Basic Requirements and demonstrated experience with the following:
AGSVA Security clearance Data, map and application configuration and deployment in ArcGIS Enterprise GIS skills and experience in management of spatial data ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise Esri Web Services, ArcGIS Enterprise and other related spatial services Installation, configuration and support of an ArcGIS Enterprise deployment in a disconnected environment. Delivery, specification, design, implementation and management of enterprise geospatial systems. GIS business, architecture concepts (Service Oriented Architecture, Web Services, etc.), and GIS deployment architectures. ESRI geospatial technologies, including ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Desktop, and knowledge of other geospatial technologies including open source geospatial technologies. Defence use of ArcGIS and its customer set Defence Intelligence business processes Cloud platforms (esp. AWS) and the operation of geospatial systems within these platforms. The use of geospatial systems within humanitarian assistance and disaster relief events and counter-terrorism events. Open geospatial standards including OGC, OWF GeoServices and other relevant open standards. Stakeholder relationship management and learning design and development Esri certification in one or more of the following:ArcGIS Desktop Associate and/or Professional Enterprise Geodata Management Enterprise Administration To receive the full information for this position, please "apply now" with your CV.
