Gis Systems Technician

Duration: 12 months – with 2 x 12 month extension options
Location: Canberra, ACT
Basic Requirements and demonstrated experience with the following:
AGSVA Security clearanceData, map and application configuration and deployment in ArcGIS EnterpriseGIS skills and experience in management of spatial dataArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS EnterpriseEsri Web Services, ArcGIS Enterprise and other related spatial servicesInstallation, configuration and support of an ArcGIS Enterprise deployment in a disconnected environment.Delivery, specification, design, implementation and management of enterprise geospatial systems.GIS business, architecture concepts (Service Oriented Architecture, Web Services, etc.), and GIS deployment architectures.ESRI geospatial technologies, including ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Desktop, and knowledge of other geospatial technologies including open source geospatial technologies.Defence use of ArcGIS and its customer setDefence Intelligence business processesCloud platforms (esp. AWS) and the operation of geospatial systems within these platforms.The use of geospatial systems within humanitarian assistance and disaster relief events and counter-terrorism events.Open geospatial standards including OGC, OWF GeoServices and other relevant open standards.Stakeholder relationship management and learning design and developmentEsri certification in one or more of the following:ArcGIS Desktop Associate and/or ProfessionalEnterprise Geodata ManagementEnterprise AdministrationTo receive the full information for this position, please "apply now" with your CV.
