Remuneration - HEWL 6: $85,816 - $92,948 per annum plus up to 17% employer superannuation contributions.

WHAT YOU CAN ACCOMPLISH IN THE ROLE
The GIS Coordinator is responsible for the development, maintenance and operation of Geographic Information Systems to deliver a service that is effective, efficient and responsive to the needs of the University by providing contemporary Information Management solutions. In this technical role, you'll oversee the creation and maintenance of GIS databases, ensuring data is accessible, accurately stored and organised to enable effective decision making and support strategic planning and development processes for the Estate Directorate. Contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery, utilising best practice approaches and emerging technologies to enhance the University's GIS and BIM platforms, you'll ensure statutory standards are met and maintained and deliver high quality mapping products to support the delivery of capital projects and space planning.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
With relevant qualifications and experience, you're familiar with building design systems and have a thorough understanding of their relationships with other facility management systems. You bring proven experience providing support in the implementation of new systems and data improvement initiatives as well as demonstrated computer literacy with skills in a range of computer programs, in particular Revit and ArcGIS/QGIS. You use effective organisational, problem solving and administrative skills to prioritise and meet competing deadlines, exercising judgement and initiative and you also bring well-developed communication and interpersonal skills to foster highly effective working relationships and deal with complex customer matters.
