Planning / Scheduling / Project Controls 1 GIS Analyst – M6 Stage 1 Project Job ID 1002631 Job Type Maximum Term The CPB Contractors, Ghella & UGL joint venture has been successful in securing the contract to deliver the $3.1bn M6 Stage 1 project. The project will deliver the missing link from Sydney's south to the wider Sydney motorway network making journeys easier, faster and safer. It will remove more than 2,000 trucks a day from surface roads and help return local streets to local communities.
With works commenced in early 2022, the M6 Stage 1 project scope includes the construction of twin four-kilometre tunnels and associated works, linking the M8 Motorway at Arncliffe to President Avenue at Kogarah.
The Opportunity We are looking a GIS Analyst to join our Design and Engineering team on the M6 Stage 1 project.
Key Accountabilities Based in Mascot, the GIS Analyst will be accountable for:
Providing technical support to the construction team (data collection, mapping, analysis)Assisting in the deployment of GIS capabilitiesMaintaining and continuously improving web mapping applicationsProducing maps, data and reports for internal and external clientsConducting GIS audits to maintain data integrityAbout You Use and experience of GIS applications (ArcGIS pro, ArcGIS Enterprise and Geocortex Essentials)Knowledge of PythonPrevious experience in construction projects would be well-regardedStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in a teamThe successful candidate will be required to hold a current Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card or equivalent) and undergo a medical assessment (including drug and alcohol testing) prior to commencement.
