We now have an exciting opportunity available for a GIS Analyst (Data Capture) to join our Networks team in Kidman Park SA, Thomastown VIC, or Eagle Farm QLD, on a Permanent Fulltime basis.
Reporting directly to the Data Services Manager, you will support the business in the timely actioning of all facets of the collation and capture of asset data, including validation and updating of data into corporate asset management systems and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
Key Responsibilities Develop and improve the timeliness of National Asset Capture activity into the new GIS.Manage, prioritise and implement daily Asset capture information in line with KPI timeliness schedules.Identify and implement initiatives to create efficiencies in the use of asset data and engineering drawings for the integration into the GIS & Maximo.Drive standardised work practices, national consistency, and process compliance.Build and maintain relationships with a number of internal and external stakeholders.Your Background Working knowledge of GIS and ability to undertake complex spatial data analysis utilising GIS.Ability to maintain spatial (GIS) and non-spatial attribute data relating to the managed assets.Knowledge of relational databases as used in high-level information systems.Ability to deliver Asset Capture activity solutions, including workflow management via the use of Geo Spatial technology and software.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships.About the Team Networks manages and operates transmission pipelines and local distribution networks that deliver gas to around 1.4 million households and businesses across Australia.
