Details of the offer

Key responsibilities Process Government Information Public Access (GIPA) applications consistent with the Government Information Public Access Act (2009), NSW Government policy, current NSW case law, other relevant legislation, so that the services provided are consistent with business policies.
Deal effectively with queries from members of the public and other organisations regarding access to Government information, and systems and processes to ensure information provided is within relevant Acts and compliance requirements.
Use relevant computerised records management system and create, store, retrieve and archive files to ensure the accurate and safe storage of information.
The person may be required to provide other assistance of a legal or ministerial nature, including: providing information needed by legal teams or requested by appropriate authorities responding to subpoenas drafting Ministerial and Parliamentary documentation including correspondence, briefings, house folder notes, cabinet documents and budget estimates notes to meet critical deadlines other tasks as required.
Experience and Competency requirements Administrative, legal and/or ministerial experience will be an advantage.
Previous experience processing GIPA applications.
