Object-oriented design and implementation in a modern compiled language such as C/C++. Developing prototypes to prove out key design concepts and quantify technical constraints. Building test tools for the development team using any of these scripting or compiled languages: Go/Python/Node.js/C++. All aspects of DevOps, including workflows, data management, application development and service delivery. Writing application software for launch vehicle, ground support and test systems. Other duties as requested by Management. Mandatory Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering – Software, Information Technology, Mechatronics, Electronic, Mechanical, Aerospace or a related field. Demonstrated experience with C/C++ and scripting languages (Bash, Python). Demonstrated experience with version control systems (Git preferred). Demonstrated experience with Linux. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships. Have a passion for advancing the commercial space industry. NV1 Security Clearance eligible preferred. Desired Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Experience in bringing your designs to fruition (experience on the job). Experience with software architecture design. Good understanding of networking with knowledge and experience in TCP/IP, UDP and multicast protocols. Experience with Docker and containerization. Experience creating CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Concourse). Experience in system validation and software release processes. Experience with embedded software development.
