In this role, you will be involved with driving the acquisition, engagement, management and retention of Anglicare Southern Queensland's Bequest donors as well as managing Estates, In Memory donations and achieving financial targets.The position will support the Head of Fundraising and the Executive Leadership Team to deliver programs and achieve financial targets in the Gifts in Wills and In Memory programs, as well as contributing to Major Gift, Capital Campaign and General Donation income streams as appropriate.Your role in supporting Anglicare will includeDevelop and implement Gifts in Wills and In Memory fundraising strategies.Support the Head of Fundraising to evaluate existing Gifts in Wills and In Memory fundraising programs and develop new initiatives in order to sustain and grow revenue streams.Develop and deliver an exceptional donor experience at all times, for existing and prospective donors, as well as their next of kin.Identify and secure new Bequest and In Memory donors for Anglicare Southern Queensland, as well as Major Gift donors where appropriate.Manage all Estate administration, Diocesan liaison and paperwork required to ensure the timely realisation of all Bequest donations.Assist in the creation of Gifts in Wills program promotional collateral and coordinate the regular distribution to Anglicare branches and service centres in the Southern Queensland region.Support the Head of Fundraising as directed.Ensure consistent and accurate reporting in Raisers Edge on all Gifts in Wills and In Memory program activities and stakeholder developmenProvide timely and regular reports to the Head of Fundraising and monitor the ongoing effectiveness of fundraising activitiesMaintain ethical standards and act in accordance with fiduciary and legal obligations of the organisation and fundraising governing bodiesWhat you will bring to the roleA minimum of 5 years' experience in fundraising, preferably within Gifts in Wills or Major Gift programs.Demonstrated ability in developing and implementing strategic fundraising programs.Proven track record in achieving fundraising targets and securing, Bequests, Major Gifts and In Memory donations.Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with the capacity to influence, negotiate and problem solve.Advanced research, writing and communication skills with excellent attention to detail.Experience in database input including campaign reporting (Raisers Edge desired but not essential).Excellent organisation and time management skills with an ability to manage competing priorities.Successful candidates will also need to provide:- National Police Certificate (or ability to attain)- Blue Card (or ability to attain)- Current Drivers LicenseWhy Join Anglicare?Join a respected Not For Profit and make a real impact in your role to assist Queenslanders in need.Great flexibility, work-life balance, flexible hours and hybrid work from home (WFH) model.Salary Packaging - package up to $15,900 per year tax free!
