Be challenged and imagine with us As the Gift Implementation Officer, you will take ownership of the gift governance administration relating to donor-funded scholarships and prizes. You will engage with both internal and external stakeholders focusing on honouring donor intent, meeting legal and financial requirements, and achieving the strategic priorities of the University.
In this role you will:
Provide specialist subject matter expertise in relation to the administration and management of donor-funded scholarships and prizes. Undertake due diligence checks and identify potential concerns in relation to the University's Risk Management Framework. Provide feedback and advice to internal and external stakeholders in relation to scholarship and prize conditions, with a view to maximising the likelihood of award. Identify opportunities to work with new or existing scholarship and prize donors to generate additional philanthropic income. This fixed term position is until the end of 2027, is full time, and will be located at the Newcastle City Campus (Awabakal and Worimi land).
How will you inspire us? You will have:
Experience understanding policy, risk, compliance, or similar. Outstanding attention to detail and organisational skills. Exceptional written communication skills including the ability to prepare reports and papers. Ability to form professional relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. What we offer The remuneration for this position is from $77,858 to $90,316 + 17% superannuation and is commensurate with skills and experience.
