As the Business Development Manager of Geraldton Hire, part of the GHS Group, you'll play a pivotal role in driving business growth, focusing on expanding our on-site hire services.
This role is ideal for an energetic sales professional with a strong background in business development and team management, ready to lead and motivate a dedicated team.
You'll oversee all aspects of our hire fleet operations—including access equipment, site offices, excavators, telehandlers, portable buildings, and builder's equipment—and develop strategies to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction.
Geographical Coverage
Regional Western Australia, permanently based in Geraldton.
Key Responsibilities
Customer service focused, promoting and increasing Geraldton Hire revenue Price and schedule ongoing and future work providing great customer service Manage and lead the Geraldton Hire team, via quality assured processes and procedures incorporating safe systems of work Manage Geraldton Hire operations, working closely with the Hire Assistant Manage employee performance and people development Manage fleet logistics – including maintenance & servicing Role Specific Competencies
Highly organised with great communication skills Advanced Microsoft Office Skills Experience with hire software Ability to work alone and in a team environment Practical experience working within a hire business Experience in a fast-paced environment and ability to multi-task What's on Offer:
