Who are we looking for? We're looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Organisational Development team. Working closely with the Global Leader – Change & Transformation, you will be responsible for providing project management at the portfolio, program, and project levels to support the Enterprise-wide transformation.
This role will be a senior member of a project management resource team established to service the portfolio of delivery initiatives and key programs: Delivery Excellence, Global Delivery Strategy, Delivery Transformation.
In this diverse role you will lead at project level: Establish systems, roadmaps, and practices to maintain project pace and progress. Run, manage, and track progress using agile and waterfall methodologies. Stakeholder engagement – establish and implement effective communications, change, and learning strategies, utilising SMEs where needed. Risk management - proactively identify and mitigate risks to outcomes. Resource management – proactive assessment of resource requirements and scheduling to ensure availability. Manage the project scope in a way that enables alignment to strategic objectives and outcomes that meet stakeholders' expectations. Manage project outcomes and integrations, considering the interdependencies, sequencing of initiatives with other enterprise activity. Set priorities and accountabilities for the activities. Track and drive quality outcomes to agreed time and budget. Clearly enable the team to articulate the value to be created by the project. Partnering at program level: Establish and maintain effective relationships with program leadership team, Program reference group, adjacent initiative leaders, business leaders, and subject matter experts. Track and drive program outcomes. Identify interconnectivity with complementary strategies and integration into the business. Establish systems and maintain ongoing day-to-day management of the program. Program and project activity performance tracking (time, budget, deliverables). Identify and manage program, project, and external interdependencies. Develop regular reporting to the Program Leader and project leads and determine ongoing reporting requirements and cadence. Contributing to portfolio level: Work with the portfolio leader, delivery program leaders, functional leaders, initiative leaders, and other project managers, align programs and projects to the portfolio objectives and outcomes. Identify the interdependencies and critical connections and work with organisational development to strengthen the cross-portfolio collaboration. Translate the portfolio intent into program and project decisions, which may lead to program and project changes related to: Sequencing, Rescoping, Terminating, Change of Pace, Value creation. We are looking for: Bachelor's or Master's degree or other relevant professional qualification/certification with significant experience in program, project, resource, and senior stakeholder management. Previous experience in a similar program management role preferred with credibility in a proactive nature focusing on driving outcomes. Ability to apply and switch between waterfall and agile methodologies as well as handle diverse situations, multiple projects, and rapidly changing priorities. Proven analytical skills and ability to exercise sound judgement and decisiveness with problem solving. Workshop facilitation and engagement of large teams. Design thinking, agile delivery, and sprint management. Exceptional people relationship, influencing, and networking skills. Sound written and oral communication skills, including consultation and negotiation, and the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships and influence people at all levels. Proven experience and passion to drive transformation within a fast-paced organisation.
