We currently have multiple opportunities for experienced HR professionals to join our team, supporting the Whyalla Steelworks operations.
Reporting directly to the HR Manager for Liberty Primary Steel and working closely with the operational leadership and stakeholders.
These opportunities would suit experienced HR professionals at an Advisor, Senior Advisor, HR Business Partners or Senior HRBPs or an end-to-end HR Manager level seeking a business partnering opportunity, with or without heavy industry experience.
As a business partner, face to face engagement with stakeholders is essential, as such the preference would be relocation to Whyalla.
We are flexible for a FIFO, with Adelaide as point hire.
Regular travel to Whyalla will be required.
Key responsibilities: Build and foster strong relationships across operational business units Provide solid HR advice and solutions at both a strategic and tactical level Provide advice, guidance and support on employee and industrial relations issues, including investigations, issue resolution, performance management and EA interpretation Drive annual HR processes including performance and remuneration review cycles, talent mapping and succession planning framework and processes, employee engagement survey and workforce planning Lead your own projects, suitable to your skills and experience.
About your experience To be successful in this role you will have a high level of emotional intelligence with ability to influence and engage with individuals across all levels.
You will thrive in a changing and challenging environment where no two days are the same and, you will be willing to challenge the 'status quo'.
You also have: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Employment Relations, Psychology, or any other transferrable people focused discipline Proven HR experience, with or without heavy industry experience Experience working with ER and IR issues in a unionised environment Sound knowledge and working experience with Australian employment law Ability to influence and present complex concepts well.
