About the role As our Branch Supervisor you will be responsible for maintaining the safe and reliable operations of the business whilst ensuring daily planned targets are met in line with forecast schedules.
Competitive salary plus a $12,000 per annum remote living allowance.
Your responsibilities will include:
Maintain a safe and reliable operation on a daily basis. Carry out daily toolbox meetings. Ensure compliance with safety, environment and all policies and procedures. Identify and reduce hazards through application of the hierarchy of control. Meet/exceed all daily, weekly and monthly targets. Plan and organise maintenance activities as required. Ensure all people related issues are dealt with in an appropriate manner. We are seeking a safety-focused leader with strong influencing & communication skills and a passion for delivering on time, within budget and to a high standard.
Your qualifications should include:
Demonstrated leadership experience within a scrap or manufacturing environment. Good understanding of scrap metal desired. Effective interpersonal skills. Excellent customer service skills. Previous experience operating mobile plant and a current forklift license (desirable). Computer literate - experience in SAP and basic MS Office skills is ideal. Key Benefits
