Geriatrician Staff Specialist

The Position Our client in Darwin has a great opportunity for a Geriatricianto join the unit on a Full Time basis.

It is the home of NT commerce and business and with its world-class natural and cultural attractions it is also a thriving hub of activity in terms of tourism, nightlife and retail.The Facility This is a Tertiary level 3 Teaching Hospital with just under 400 beds and around 1,700 staff. The hospital services a population of 200,000 in a catchment area including urban communities, regional hospitals and remote Aboriginal communities. The hospital is affiliated with Flinders University with an onsite Medical School and is ACEM accredited as a major referral centre for two years of advanced emergency training.

The Requirements To apply you must be one or more of the folllowing:

Hold or be eligible for registration with AHPRA

Possess at least 12 months recent Geriatric Medicine experience

OnRACP training program

Hold or eligible forthe FRACP

IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ

IMG'swith RACP interview date

IMG's assessed by RACPand found to be substantially comparable.
