The PositionOur client in Queensland has a great opportunity for a Geriatricianto join the unit on a Full Time

basis.

The Location:The hospital is located on an idyllic part of the Queensland coast. With over 300 days of sunshine each year there is an abundance of outdoor activities. Popular attractions include Riverbank Parklands, a riverfront parkland attraction, the coastal strip and large neighbouring islands, the vast majority of which is national park.

The Facility:This is a305-bed facility and is the main referral hospital for Central Queensland. Services include Emergency Medicine, General Medicine, Cancer Services, Cardiology, Renal, Palliative Care, Mental Health, Rehabilitation, Geriatric Medicine, Oral Health, Paediatrics, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Urology, ENT, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Intensive Care and Anaesthesia. There are a range of clinical services provided on a visiting basis from tertiary hospitals in Queensland. The Cancer Care Unit provides care for local patients, with state-of-the-art equipment and services. Accredited for ACEM, ACRRM and RACGP specialist training.

The RequirementsTo apply you must be one or more of the folllowing:

Hold or be eligible for registration with AHPRAPossess at least 12 months recent Geriatric Medicine experienceOnRACP training programHold or eligible forthe FRACPIMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZIMG'swith RACP interview dateIMG's assessed by RACPand found to be substantially comparable.For more informationplease
