The Chief Financial Officer will play a pivotal role in driving the organisation's ability to achieve its strategic goals with a focus on providing strong financial and risk management leadership.
This role will provide strategic leadership and contribute to defining organisational direction while ensuring processes and systems are in place to support that direction and mitigate risk.
The role will lead and promote a strong internal service culture through the corporate services functions, enabling an effective service delivery approach whilst maintaining strict protocols and controls.
The successful candidate will possess:
Minimum of 5 years' experience working as a CFO for a medium to large not-for-profit organisation.
Not-for-profit experience with multiple funding streams and NDIS experience is highly desirable.
The ability to work as an advisor and leader, providing commercial and strategic support to other executives and the Board.
Strong intellect, negotiation and communication skills with the emotional intelligence to build effective relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Professional accounting qualification as a Chartered Accountant or Certified Practicing Accountant.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting to post graduate level.
This role will suit a detail-oriented, self-motivated, dynamic and energetic person who can build trust quickly through quality of leadership, work and the innate ability to 'get things done'.
Must currently reside in Perth or planning to relocate to Perth at the beginning of 2025.
