Due to considerable growth, we would like to meet with passionate Geotechnical Engineers and Engineering Geologists who are looking to make their mark in 2025 and beyond!
You will be part of our accomplished Geotechnical and Tunneling section and will work alongside our established team of geotechnical technical experts, assisting in bidding and delivering successful projects.
Your technical expertise will be deployed across projects in the transport, energy, water, mining, property and government sectors to continue the growth of an already successful and reputable capability.
What you'll do: Provide technical advice on complex geotechnical issues to clients and internal staff and deliver best practice consulting services;Manage and deliver geotechnical field investigations across a wide range of sectors;Participate in industry groups as part of maintaining a high industry profile;Manage, analyse and carry out geotechnical reporting for projects;Provide safety leadership in identifying and alleviating/eliminating high priority safety hazards;Participate in training activities, mentor and transfer knowledge to other geotechnical engineers;Help prepare tenders, proposals and reports for clients; andGuide, participate and support stakeholder engagement activities.About you: Proven experience in geotechnical engineering, with experience in geotechnical consulting considered favourably;Experience in undertaking and managing geotechnical field investigations for small to large size geotechnical projects, including soil and rock logging;Demonstrated experience in the preparation/review of written technical reports and client communications;Demonstrated experience in geotechnical design including rock/soil/structure interaction;A strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously and in a team environment;A willingness to travel regionally and nationally for up to 14 days at a time.In addition, you will bring the following skills and attributes: Natural connector;Problem solver with a powerful team spirit;Open;Curious;Adaptable;Someone ready to do the kind of work the world needs.Join our close-knit community of talented individuals who share your passion for making a positive impact.
