Job Tasks and Responsibilities Reporting to the Superintendent Mine Geology, you will be a part of a dynamic and motivated team. The role will require: • Perform slope stability analysis and interpretation of short-, medium-term and Life of Mine plans • Perform pit inspections, geotechnical hazard identification and provide recommendations for hazard mitigation to ensure operational safety • Investigation of ground related issues and conduct geotechnical reconciliations • Review, update and optimise geotechnical processes and design guidelines • Maintain the Geotechnical database and provide advice on geotechnical sampling regimes • Ad hoc Geotechnical projects Skills and Experience The successful candidates will display the Yancoal – 'Our Way' behaviours in everyday practice and fosters a 'One Team' culture.
