Our client is looking for experienced Drillers and Offsiders to support their geotechnical teams in delivering high-impact infrastructure projects.
The roles will involve collecting core samples for material testing and analysis, crucial for the design and construction of major infrastructure such as roads, tunnels, dams, and energy projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in drilling, as well as those looking to develop their career in the geotechnical field.
Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
The Role
The successful candidates will:
Operate and assist with drilling rigs to extract core samples from a variety of materials, supporting infrastructure projects.Ensure the proper setup, maintenance, and operation of drilling equipment, adhering to strict safety protocols.Handle and log core samples, ensuring accuracy and compliance with testing standards.Assist in geotechnical investigations to provide vital data for the construction of roads, bridges, tunnels, energy, and water infrastructure.Work outdoors in varying conditions, often on remote and regional project sites.Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidates will demonstrate:
Experience as a Driller or Offsider within a civil or geotechnical infrastructure environment, or a desire to develop expertise in this field.A strong understanding of safety procedures and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.The ability to work in physically demanding conditions and support field operations.A valid driver's licence.Flexibility to travel to project sites, including regional or remote locations, as required.Why Join?
