With close to 800+ staff in APAC alone, we provide consultancy advice and support on a wide range of strategic and site-specific issues to a diverse and growing base of business, regulatory and governmental clients.
We celebrate a 'One Team Culture', where bringing together diversity of thought and expression is key to building the best team to deliver excellent results.
Due to an increased level of new clients and projects, SLR's leading Social Performance team is looking to recruit a consultant with a background in Social Performance - social impact assessments, communications, community or stakeholder engagement – with an emphasis on designing positive social value outcomes for communities and our clients.
This opportunity will suit a candidate at the early stages of their Social Performance career (circa 1-4 years' experience), looking to partner with a global consultancy and learn from a team of market leading experts across Australia.
This role will ideally be based in our Riverside offices in Brisbane; however, we are open to applicants from any of our locations.

Interest in ESG frameworks, circular economy, climate change adaptation and resilience.
Positive, can-do attitude, and an ability to work with multiple disciplines and teams across a large dynamic business.
Experience in the consulting industry will be highly regarded.
Responsibilities:
You will work in partnership with a good mix of our 21 Disciplines, learning from and collaborating with many of our 800 (and counting!)

This opportunity will see you:
Support the Social Performance team across Australia.
Liaise with other internal consultants from other disciplines in a collaborative manner to deliver project outcomes.
Undertake research such as sentiment analysis, social research and stakeholder mapping.
Develop communication materials (hardcopy and digital) and project collateral.
Assist with writing and preparing fee proposals.
Prepare high quality reports for clients.
Must have excellent written communication, be articulate and good with people (High EI).
Adhere to professional standards, ethics and quality procedures.
Contribute to our "One Team" company culture.
Our Benefits:
We are most proud of our diverse, friendly and expert team, who work together to collaborate on projects to get the best possible outcome for our clients.
Whether you're enjoying our flexible hybrid work environment, looking to excel through our defined career progression program, or at that time in your life where a supportive and generous parental leave scheme is key... Our benefits aim to ensure that we cater for all.
You can find a comprehensive list here.
