We have an excellent career opportunity within our Sustainable Waste Management team for a Principal Consultant to join our team in the Brisbane office. You will work closely within the senior team to ensure the delivery of quality environmental outcomes, practical waste, resource recovery and recycling solutions, and other advisory services to our internal and external clients.

Key Responsibilities
You will have an entrepreneurial mindset and have the ability to do the following:
Lead the provision of technical inputs to waste management and resource recovery strategy for private industry and local, state, and country governments. Provide specialist technical input to due diligence assessments in the fields of environmental, market, feedstock, and technology due diligence. Conduct data analysis and review complex datasets. Provide specialist input to feasibility studies, business case development, and strategic waste and recycling infrastructure planning across the private and government sectors. Deliver waste management plans and associated documentation for developments. Produce high-quality documents that support the planning and approvals process. Prepare high-quality documents associated with waste facility master planning. Project manage small to medium projects to produce high-quality strategy, market assessment, technology, and other advisory documentation. Prepare quality reports for internal and external clients on time and within set budget. Provide advice and assistance to internal and external clients, team members, and Project Managers on projects regarding best principles and practices. Contribute to winning work by developing proposals, identifying and converting opportunities, and drawing on your client relationships. Perform administrative and financial management tasks including budget preparation and providing accurate and timely responses to requests as required by project demands and timelines. Experience
As a positive and engaging candidate, you will also display the following:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Science or a related field. 12-15+ years' practical experience in the field of Waste and Resource Recovery/Recycling management with significant demonstrated skills in the areas of waste data analysis, strategy, due diligence, market assessments, report writing, and environmental assessments. Working knowledge of Australian and New Zealand environmental legislation and policies, standards, and guidelines with particular weight put on knowledge in Queensland. Strong capabilities in waste advisory. Strong diligence in project delivery and attention to detail. Our Benefits
