Due to our continued growth and strong pipeline, there is an opportunity for a Junior Geotechnical Engineer to join our growing Geotechnics team in Adelaide. The role offers a collaborative working environment with industry-leading professionals across our global community. You will work closely with our Principal and Senior Consultants onsite in Adelaide, as well as the team of 30+ Consultants in NSW and QLD.
Our Geotechnics Team comprises specialist geologists, engineering geologists, geotechnical engineers, civil engineers, tailings specialists, hydrogeologists, and hydrologists. Our primary client sectors include Mining, Built Environment, and Infrastructure. We have a portfolio of global projects working across borders alongside 200+ engineers over 6 continents, bringing the highest level of experience and technical capabilities to our clients.
Key Responsibilities

Work on a wide range of projects which will include mining and resources, roads, rail, civil, and industrial. Contribute to a diverse range of projects from inception to completion. Provide technical oversight of site investigation teams. Undertake geotechnical analyses. Undertake engineering judgement, interpretation, and analysis of data to develop and implement best practices to provide practical and commercial solutions. Work with a wide variety of experienced professionals in a multi-disciplinary international consulting services company. Experience
The right candidate should have:
Exposure to projects across multiple sectors, including mining and resources, highways, and built environment. 2-5 years hands-on experience with tertiary qualifications in engineering or geology. Excellent report writing and communication skills with demonstrated experience delivering on time and on budget. An excellent attitude and capability of working within a dynamic environment. Well-developed creative and problem-solving skills and excellent technical ability. A willingness to work in a developing local team, drawing support from our well-established Geotechnical teams in other states. Benefits
