Our team
The Enabling Services Branch delivers key corporate functions across Geoscience Australia, including communications, cyber security, finance and facilities, governance, and human resources (HR).
The role
The APS5 Recruitment Advisor reports to the Team Leader of Recruitment and is responsible for administering comprehensive end-to-end recruitment services. This includes designing, coordinating, and placing job advertisements across various platforms.
In this role you will:
Provide advice on recruitment policies, procedures, and processes. Administer comprehensive end-to-end recruitment services, including the design, coordination, and placement of job advertisements. Facilitate recruitment for both ongoing and non-ongoing roles. Offer consultancy support to selection panels throughout the recruitment and selection process. Support the development of role profiles and candidate attraction strategies. Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires. Review selection processes and prepare employment offers. Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation. Participate in ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed. Promote a customer-centric service culture focused on continuous improvement. To be successful in the role you will:
Demonstrate proficiency in contemporary recruitment practices. Utilise recruitment systems effectively and maintain high-level communication skills. Exhibit strong customer service skills aimed at delivering timely outcomes. Required skills, knowledge, experience and/or qualifications
