Project Controls Manager
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and capable Project Controls Manager to lead the management system for an upcoming project in Perth, WA.
One of the main functions will include developing, managing and improving the Alliance Management System, ensuring that all Client, accreditation and legal obligations are met. Collaboration with the Alliance Management Team to implement effective and efficient systems and integrate across the Alliance Partners. The role commences in December 2024/January 2025.
Working closely with project teams you will provide effective cross functional working relationships, Procurement and systems expertise to provide support to both the Alliance Manager and the project team within our growing and busy business.

You're one of the best. Someone with:
Minimum five (5) years' experience working in a similar role in the building, engineering or construction industry Good time management skills Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines Tertiary Qualification - bachelor's degree or Diploma in a related discipline Experience with the following desirable; Enterprise Resource Planning Software (ERP), Human Resources Information System (HRIS), Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel and Outlook), Project Planning Software, Health, Safety, Environment and Quality System (HSEQ) Highly desirable but not mandatory experience in Alliance contracting. Proven negotiation experience in systems management and managing teams. Solid understanding Project controls management with an ability to build strong relationships between all Project stakeholders and Clients. Demonstrated experience leading a project systems function with direct reports. Solid understanding of Procurement management and process.
What you'll do (but not limited to):
Provide leadership within the project to foster a culture of system compliance and high performance Manage the development, maintenance and support of the Alliance Management System to meet operational, legal, Client, accreditation and other obligation needs Apply safe methods of work utilising systems and procedures defined in the Safety Management Plan Manage the HSEQ team Manage the Alliance compliance with management systems, processes, corporate, statutory, and legislative requirements, with significant emphasis on Safety, Quality and Environment Understand, implement and maintain the health and safety management system Ensure consultants, visitors and subcontractors comply with Alliance safety systems Provide optimized project resources (labour, material, subcontractors) for HSEQ team Develop all Quality team planning and decision making within a 'best for project' framework based around the project framework Review HSEQ team's plans to reflect and recognize the Construction Critical Path Provide the monthly cost to date and forecast to complete to manager Optimise resources within Quality team by performing against plans ensuring timely action to adjust for variance and contingencies Implement controls and ensure that all work is in accordance with the Alliance Management System Manage compliance and implement improvements within authority limits to Project systems and processes Manage effective cross functional working relationships by clarifying Task Initiating Role Relationship Authorities Maintain effective relationships with Client, subcontractors, suppliers, community and stakeholders to optimise performance across the Project Contribute to timely, strategic solutions where appropriate within the appointed authority limit Arranging, reviewing and undertaking the required monitoring and auditing as set out in this Quality Management Plan
