We are expanding our team to support this exciting journey and are on the lookout for a passionate, driven and suitably experienced Geology Superintendent. Underpinned by the Genesis ASPIRE values, you will play a leading role in the coordination and communication of the mine geology team at our Leonora Operations.
This is a permanent full time role on a 8 days on / 6 days off / 4 days on / 3 days off roster, reporting to the Geology Manager - Leonora. This role may be Fly-in Fly-out from Perth, Drive-in Drive-out from Kalgoorlie or residential in Leonora.
Key responsibilities:
Responsible for effective decision-making pertaining to all aspects of the Leonora Operations Mine Geology TeamDevelop and mentor team members at all levelsFoster quality interdepartmental communication and relationshipsSupervising the team to ensure safe delivery to plan in respect to production, mining development and resource performanceManage drill planning, contractor engagement and execution across the Leonora Operations, including RC and DD drilling for GC, RESDEV and near mine exploration purposesMonitor and reporting on all aspects of Resource, Reserve and mill reconciliation We're excited to hear from you if you have: A degree qualification in GeologyAt least six (6) years relevant work experience, including exposure to open pit and underground mining and EOM reconciliation processes.Strong communication skills, including communicating with people from different backgrounds and culturesHigh level of enthusiasm for the work with high performance goalsCommercial acumen relevant to the role At Genesis, we value our team and believe that our success is built on the talent and dedication of our people.
