We are currently seeking Mine Geologists for our Cloncurry Copper Project mining operations at Wallace North.

This is a full-time position working at our Wallace North project with accommodation & meals provided in Cloncurry.
The Role:Reporting to the Senior Mine Geologist, you will be responsible for mapping, collecting samples, and providing geological guidance to optimise mining processes and ensure resource extraction efficiency.
This role is offered on a family lifestyle 8/6 roster, FIFO from Cairns or Townsville or DIDO from Mt Isa.
Those that live residentially in Cloncurry will receive a local living allowance.
About You:To be successful in this role you will be an experienced Geologist who has a passion for working in a team environment with a proven record of collaborating effectively to achieve objectives.
Key Responsibilities:Conduct data collection and analysis to support mining activities and ensure geological understanding of the deposit is maximised.Interpret geological data to support advanced drilling programs.Generate and maintain geological databases and reconciliation reports.Conduct site inspections to assess geotechnical conditions and identify potential hazards.Assist in running the site's grade control program ensuring accurate delineation of ore and waste in all mining areas.Liaise with other technical services teams (engineering, surveying, metallurgy) as well as the pit supervisor, mill supervisors, crushing contractors, and drill and blast contractors to ensure good mining practices are maintained.Ensure all activities comply with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), environmental policies and general duty of care.Contribute to resource and reserve development.Demonstrate to your team your personal commitment to safety by complying with the requirements of the WHS Management System.Identify and manage the risks associated with operations, ensuring timely recommendations and resolutions to maximise safe effective production and minimise delays.To be successful you will need to have:A relevant degree or tertiary qualification in Geology or related discipline.Experience in a similar or related role preferred.Experience with Deswick or similar software.Hold a current Driver's "C" Class license valid in the state of Queensland.RIIRIS301E – Apply risk management processes.RIIWHS301E – Conduct safety and health investigations.RIICOM301E – Communicate Information.Ability to undertake a Pre-employment medical & D&A screening in line with RSHQ requirements.Current or willing to obtain a national police check.Rights to work in Australia.What We Offer:Meals and accommodation are provided at the company camp with bus transport to and from Wallace North, Cloncurry.Employee Assistance Program.Generous salary packages.Family-friendly lifestyle roster.How to Apply:True North Copper Ltd is committed to our mission to earn the trust of all our employees, partners, businesses, and stakeholders through the safe and responsible development of the region's natural copper resources and to recruiting and retaining the best people for the job.
