Temporary Full-Time position for upto six months with the possibility of extension Location: Willing to consider candidates across all NSW locations. About the Role As a key member of our team, your primary focus will be on managing all LLS spatial and project data and databases. You'll play a vital role in enabling staff access to data for project management, delivering comprehensive support and spatial data management, and ensuring the quality assurance of all spatial data outcomes. Additionally, you will actively participate in various ICT projects, engaging in system testing, and offering support for several bespoke systems. As the Geographic Information Systems Officer, you'll be the architect of effective data management strategies, forging partnerships, and networks to ensure seamless data sharing within LLS operations. Your expertise will be instrumental in leading a diverse array of complex data management projects, each one a chance to innovate and drive tangible outcomes aligned with LLS objectives. You'll delve into research and analysis, transforming raw data into actionable insights that fuel continuous improvement initiatives. Your journey as a Geographic Information Systems Officer will be filled with exciting challenges, from cultivating partnerships to enhancing data management capabilities. Navigating the intricacies of diverse data management projects, you'll seize each opportunity to push boundaries and redefine what's possible in the realm of GIS. Your role will demand adeptness in research and analysis, uncovering insights that drive continuous improvement amidst a dynamic landscape. Essential Requirements for the Role: Experience and understanding of the operations and administration of Geographic Information Systems and working knowledge of information and cartographic standards. Demonstrated expertise in ESRI tools with experience in Microsoft SQL Server and Azure. Proven track record in GIS, spatial data management, and database administration, showcasing your expertise in the field.
