Role Overview As a Quality Control Engineer at our early-stage technology company, you will ensure the quality and reliability of our uncrewed aircraft prototypes and their manufacturing processes. This role requires a meticulous individual who can work effectively in both the office environment and the manufacturing shop floor. You will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control processes, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities Develop and implement quality control processes for uncrewed aircraft and components. Establish a framework and conduct inspections and tests to ensure compliance with specifications and standards. Identify and address quality issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes and product quality. Document quality control procedures and inspection results. Support the transition from prototype to production, ensuring consistent quality. Required Experience and Skills Proven experience in quality control for aerospace manufacturing. Strong background in inspection techniques and quality standards. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Well-developed interpersonal skills and attention to detail. Experience with quality control tools and software. Desired Experience Familiarity with aerospace standards and regulations. Experience with non-conforming parts and corrective action processes. Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and Six Sigma methodologies. Ability to obtain AGSVA Security Clearance – Baseline (or existing clearance). #J-18808-Ljbffr
