About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Broome.
This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the design and delivery of innovative solar and battery installations in regional and remote Western Australia.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop electrical power systems for off-grid applications, including the integration of batteries, generators, and monitoring equipment.
Collaborate with the engineering team on the design and layout of solar PV systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Contribute to the development of best practice monitoring and maintenance procedures for off-grid power systems.
Provide on-site technical support and collaborate with installation teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively.
Engage in research and development activities to solve unique challenges and optimise system performance in diverse environments and configurations.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, preferably with experience in renewable energy systems.
Strong understanding of power system design principles and Australian Standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Proactive problem-solving abilities and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Physical stamina to work on-site in remote locations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 per year
