About the Role:
Are you a dedicated Primary teacher seeking a fresh opportunity? A reputable F-9 school in Tarneit, nestled in Melbourne's Western suburbs, is seeking a passionate classroom teacher to join in a full-time capacity, in a welcoming and supportive teaching and learning environment in 2025. With approximately 1000 students spanning from years F-9, this role offers integration into a dynamic true community focused school.
Key duties: Develop and implement lesson plans and instructional materials that align with the Victorian curriculum.Establish and maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment conducive to learning, including managing student behaviour, fostering positive relationships, and promoting mutual respect among students.Design and administer assessments to evaluate students' understanding and provide timely feedback to students and parents on their progress and areas for improvement.Provide additional support and assistance to students who require differentiation to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with learning disabilities or English language learners.Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to share ideas, resources, and strategies for improving student learning outcomes.Participate in team meetings, grade-level planning, and school-wide initiatives to support the school community.Skills & Experience: Have unrestricted working rights in Australia.Completed relevant Qualifications in Education.Current VIT registration.Demonstrate previous experience in teaching Primary in Australia.Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).Offering: Teaching Primary students in years F-6 (yet to be determined).Commencement from in Term 1, 2025.Join a school community that is actively growing and evolving.Receiving a salary commensurate with your demonstrated expertise, within the range of $75,000 to $115,000.The School: F-9 school with around 1000 students.Approachable management team and smaller team structures.Well respected school within the local community.Collaborative planning model with professional development opportunities.Why work with Tradewind?
