Position Description: Maintain national board registration. Maintain professional development as required to maintain registration. Maintain Medical Indemnity Insurance. Maintain CPR & First aid. Clinical Responsibilities: As a medical practitioner, provide high quality clinical health services for patients in accordance with best practice and RACGP guidelines. Provide after hours, on call services as rostered if applicable. Examining, diagnosing, and treating patients for a variety of common ailments. Treating acute and chronic illnesses and providing preventative care and health education to patients. Providing advice and treatment that is in line with preventative health initiatives. Ordering clinical diagnostic tests. Seeing patients daily in the consultation rooms. Maintaining patient medical records. Systems and Operations: Attendance and participation in regular staff meetings. Report near misses and mistakes in clinical care. Privacy and Confidentiality: Ensuring that patient health information is not visible to unauthorised persons. Report any potential data breach. Sign a confidentiality agreement. Workplace Safety: In collaboration with other staff, maintain a safe working environment for staff and patients in accordance with the relevant workplace, health and safety policies and guidelines. Comply and act in accordance with the practice's infection control policies. Qualifications & Experience: AHPRA registration. Professional indemnity Insurance.
