This Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (ACCHO) is seeking General Practitioners for their Ipswich and Laidley Clinics. This well-established clinic has strong community engagement and is well supported by Nursing and Aboriginal Health staff. The clinic is seeking dedicated and experienced General Practitioners to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality care, possess excellent clinical skills, and be enthusiastic about working in a collaborative environment, and with First Nation peoples and communities. 715 Health Check are utilised at the clinic as a vital tool improving the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. They prioritise early detection and management of health conditions, promoting a holistic approach to health, and contributing to closing the gap is our priority. All General Practitioners have the option to attend local schools to conduct 715 Health Check's.

Key Selection Criteria:
Registration as General Practitioner with AHPRA
Current Insurance Indemnity
Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments, plan, implement, and evaluate clinical care and primary health care strategies, including appropriate investigations, treatment and referral
Demonstrated ability to meet targets and performance outcomes.
Ability to support a continuous improvement model for achieving outcomes.
Criminal History Check - Employment is conditional upon maintaining a clear personal history screening checks prior to and throughout employment.

Mandatory:
Registration as General Practitioner with AHPRA and the Australian Medical Board (unrestricted)
Ability to obtain an unrestricted Medicare provider number so that you may claim Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) rebates for your professional services at Ipswich and Laidley Clinic locations
Current Insurance Indemnity
Demonstrated ability to meet targets and performance outcomes.
Ability to work sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and/or communities
