A GP Opportunity with a Difference Due to ongoing growth, BRAMS is seeking multiple General Practitioners to join our team in Broome, WA. You must hold current residency in Australia, New Zealand, or the United Kingdom to be eligible for this position.
As a General Practitioner Clinical Lead, you will provide comprehensive healthcare to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, delivering both acute and chronic medical care while promoting primary healthcare initiatives. Reporting to the Senior Medical Officer, your responsibilities include:
Managing acute and chronic medical conditions for patientsDelivering primary healthcare and health promotion initiativesCollaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including Aboriginal Health Workers, Nurses, and visiting allied health professionals, to provide holistic, culturally sensitive careOptimising clinic efficiency and safety, while supporting the Senior Medical Officer and deputising in their absenceEngaging in education and training, providing mentorship to GP Registrars, Aboriginal Health Workers, and Nursing and Medical studentsAt BRAMS, we offer a dynamic, diverse working environment where no two days are the same.
