As a Remote Area Nurse (RAN), you will provide high quality, evidence-based care; education for assigned health programs (e.g.
Chronic Disease, Child Health, RHD); and participate in routine service delivery of vaccinations to the community through our community outreaches.

About Mala'la Mala'la Health Service is a respected & accredited Aboriginal Corporation providing services to the seaside community of Maningrida (520 km east of Darwin), with a population of approximately 3,000 people.
These services include Primary Health Care, Aged & Community Care, Family & Community Wellness, Drugs & Alcohol Services.
Mala'la Health Service provides Primary Health Care services to Maningrida and surrounding homelands under a Community Control model.
The role will see you working in a remote Aboriginal Community.
All applicants must have an understanding of, and commitment to Aboriginal Community Control, self-determination, and the issues faced by Aboriginal people living in remote settings.

Current AHPRA Registration and Practicing Certificate as a Registered NurseCurrent Remote Emergency Care Course certificate and/or Advance Life Support certificateCurrent accredited Immunisation certificate (recognised in the NT)Remote Pharmacotherapeutic Certificate (or equivalent)Min 5 years broad nursing experience post registration and 3 years working in a primary health related field in a remote context, with advanced clinical skills and competencies applicable to remote settings (including the ability to triage, work independently and participate in emergency calls and First Response)Vaccination & Immunity Screening Mala'la Health Service is committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for all staff and clients of our Health Care Centre.
