The General Practitioner provides culturally safe services within a comprehensive primary health care (CPHC) framework across all sections of Congress' Health Services Division.
As the largest Aboriginal community-controlled health organisation in the Northern Territory, Congress employs a large team of GPs across our 13 clinics in the Central Australian region.
The GP position works within a multidisciplinary team practising interesting and complex medicine.
The General Practitioner provides high quality clinical and culturally safe care and works to optimise the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal people.
The GP is also involved in providing chronic disease care, health checks, preventative health care, health promotion, and routine general practice consultations.
