Job Title: General Practitioner FIFO - Middlemount, Queensland.
Compensation: $21,600 for 14 days
Hours:Monday - Friday 8am - 5:30pmSaturday - Sunday 8am - 12pmPublic Holidays 8am - 12pm
Practice Information:Solo GP with receptionists, Registered Nurse (full-time), Enrolled Nurse (working under a grant from the NQPHN), Phlebotomist, Chronic Care Coordinator (part-time), and Practice Manager.
Ambulance and paramedic are located in town and hospitals are an hour or so away.
The Work: Family orientatedMums and childrenVisiting farmersMine workers occasionally but mainly when they are off work and living in town3-4 patients an hourFlexible working hoursClinic closes for lunchSlow paceWill need to do coal board medicals but the nurse does most of the work (may need to do short qualification)Must hold the phone for after-hours but no home visits; anyone needs you the ambulance is normally calledAbout 2-4 CDM patients a day – all done by NurseQualifications & Experience:Vocationally registered General Practitioner with AHPRA.
