You will have a profound understanding of and respect for Aboriginal culture and history, coupled with a profound awareness of challenges affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
What do you need to apply? Registration as a Specialist General Practitioner with AHPRA Fellowship status in either RACGP or ACCRM, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in General Practice Post-graduate qualifications, including a Diploma in obstetrics or a minimum of 5 years' experience in antenatal care Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Effective engagement with individuals from diverse cultural and social backgrounds Hold or willingness to acquire, MTOP and IUD training Demonstrated comprehension of Primary Health Care principles within the Indigenous Health context Accreditation as a supervisor for GP registrars Expertise in navigating Medicare intricacies and the nuances of the Practice Incentive Scheme A comprehensive grasp of the Aboriginal Health Workers Career Structure/Competencies Join Danila Dilba's mission to enhance and promote community health and accelerate your medical journey today!  NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer support and financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
