Cobar is a small rural mining town of 4600 people with a great community feel, excellent schools and childcare options, and sporting and recreation facilities. There are two great primary schools and one high school. There are multiple sports clubs in town for children and adults from Soccer, Cricket, Rugby Union, Rugby League, Swimming, Dance, Tennis, Golf, Netball, Squash and many more.
