General Practitioner - Broome (Mm6)

THE PRACTICE- Working hours are based on 8 am - 4.30 pm weekdays, this is very flexible.- Patient & staff parking is available.- Choose your appointment times; you have full clinical independence.
THE OPPORTUNITY- You'll be supported with full nursing coverage.- Allied Health support is available.- Occupational Health, Skin Cancer, minor procedures, women's health, and chronic disease management GP sub-specialties are in demand.- You will earn $150/hour, or 65-70% of billings, whichever is higher.- Likely earnings $250,000-$300,000 before tax each year.
DUTIES- Examine patients and take their histories, order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures.- Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health.- Prescribe and administer medications and treatments.- Vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases.- Advise patients and their families on health care including health promotion, disease, illness, and accident prevention.- Provide counseling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.
LOCATION- DPA/MM6, Broome, is a busy coastal town of 15,000, with a significant shortage of General Practitioners.- Visa sponsors will support permanent residency.
