Job Title: General Practitioner – Babinda, Queensland.
Hours: Permanent - Full Time
Practice Information:
Established in 2019, this practice was set up as a sister location to their main practice which has been operating for about 40 years. The practice currently has 3 GPs who work on a roster basis. You'll be supported by full-time nursing support and a wonderful administration team. The practice is open Monday to Friday 8:15am to 5:15pm and caters to a wide variety of patients stemming from an agricultural and farming community. One of the Practice Principles has an interest in Skin Cancer and therefore does a lot of procedural work. There is also a high number of ATSI patients. The practice is mixed billing.
Position Details:
The role will include broad primary health care in a rural setting, including paediatric, youth, adult and aged care health, immunisation, general medicine, shared ante and postnatal care, travel and tourist medicine, employment medicals, mental health, minor injuries, chronic pain, preventive health checks, extended primary care, indigenous healthcare, and chronic disease management. The practice offers primary care in a large and well-equipped facility.
Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of SurgeryCurrent AHPRA RegistrationMinimum of 3 years medical work experienceCurrent working rights in AustraliaSalary Information:
Percentage of billings.
